Our Youth Stewards program is an eight week course offered twice yearly to local middle and high school students. The Youth Stewards program provides students with the opportunity to learn about native ecosystems from Grassroots Ecology's expert ecologists, connect with peers, and make a positive impact in their community. Youth Stewards gain experience stewarding local wildlife habitat, removing invasive plants, practicing observation skills, and more!

Grassroots Ecology is committed to offering the Youth Stewards program at no cost to the student participants, which is only made possible through grants and individual donations.
